What is the Inspiring Careers Programme?

Through our Inspiring Careers Programme, we work with schools and colleges in England to deliver high-quality careers education and work experience opportunities to students.

Careers education, information, advice, and guidance (CEIAG)

Our professionally qualified Careers Advisers help your students to understand different career pathways, tailoring support to individual needs.

Work experience

We support your students to secure meaningful work experience placements, engaging with suitable employers and helping students prepare and reflect.

Helping you achieve the Quality in Careers Standard

EDT is a licensed awarding body for the Quality in Careers Standard, helping schools and colleges achieve this in line with the Gatsby Benchmarks.

Why choose EDT’s Inspiring Careers Programme?

What does the Inspiring Careers Programme aim to achieve?

The programme aims to ensure that young people across England can access meaningful pathways to further education or employment. We help them to not only reach a destination, but develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed throughout their working life, no matter where this takes them.

Against the backdrop of a growing number of young people in the UK who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET) – or at risk of joining this group – this work is more important than ever.

What does the programme journey look like?

Frequently asked questions

We offer different packages to suit the varied types of support schools may need, so the cost depends on the package you buy. Please contact us directly for more information on the packages we offer.

The award will last for three years. During this period, our team will meet you annually to discuss progress since your last assessment and get you ready for reassessment.
