Who is eligible for help on Pathways?

Are you out of work?

We can help you if you have been out of work for a while because you:

  • have been on a career break
  • have been made redundant
  • are a student
  • have health or wellbeing challenges which may have prevented you from working in the past
  • are not in receipt of work-related benefits

If you are in receipt of benefits, please check the next question below.

Are you claiming Universal Credit or Job Seekers Allowance?

We might be able to help you if you are on Universal Credit if the Job Centre have not told you that they expect you to find work.

We won't be able to help you if you claim Job Seekers Allowance and/or the Job Centre do expect you to find work.

If the Job Centre do expect you to find work, we would recommend that you contact the National Careers Service for an appointment about getting ready to find work.
