Careers education

We provide engaging and expert employability and careers guidance to young people and adults, including in communities where gender equity and poverty present particular barriers to work transitions and personal development.

We use our expertise in employability and careers services to bridge the gap between education, training and employment, working with national and local funders to deliver high-quality support to adults and young people.

Our experience and expertise ranges from consulting on high-level careers education, advice and guidance policies, to training highly skilled workforces of careers advisors and delivering impartial advice in a variety of settings. We have experience of running national careers and employability guidance services – notably the National Careers Service in England – as well as designing and delivering employability-focused programmes in schools and wider communities. We also recently completed work on a careers education programme, Future Ready, for schools in Jordan, which tackled gender stereotyping in career aspirations.

Throughout our careers work, we adopt a joined-up approach with local stakeholders to develop our work – from linking up with employers, schools and colleges to nurturing key strategic relationships with local authorities, enterprise partnerships, and other partner organisations. In all our work, whether in the UK or internationally, we develop a deep understanding of the local context to develop sustainable solutions.

We also provide expert tracking and data management services to track school leaver destinations. Our reliable data allows local authorities to make informed decisions about careers education provision in their jurisdiction, especially for vulnerable learners.
